Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and research new customer and new project opportunities, identify decision makers within prospects
  • Organize and participate in discovery meetings with clients in order to identify revenue opportunities, make recommendations and determining next steps. Develops a business plan for each account
  • Prepare clear and effective written proposals and quotations for prospective and current customers.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of client business needs and offer the appropriate business solutions that help each achieve their strategic business goals
  • Recommend to clients additional solutions and services the company provides, highlighting the advantages of the product or service, utilizing internal tools and resources as needed
  • Develop sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers by working closely with a more experienced sales representative.
  • Partners with internal resources to execute targeted deliverables within a timely manner
  • Provide extraordinary customer service throughout the sales process
  • Forecast accurately and maintain the system of record in Salesforce.com.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 1-3 years of relevant work experience OR have completed the Sales Associate Development Program.
  • An exceptional level of business acumen, motivation, competitiveness, customer-driven focus, time management and multi-tasking.
  • Able to compile, analyze and interpret results of data gathering. Must be good at identifying general trends and patterns that may need to be addressed by management.
  • Clear knowledge of the selling cycle with the ability to make cold calls on a daily basis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people when completing work assignments.
  • Desire to be a continuous learner of RRD’s products & services.
  • Able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions. Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance.
  • Able to apply general functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC or other technical tools to complete work assignments.
