Frontend Web Developer

SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Expert knowledge of Shopify/Shopify Plus creating websites, stores, and landing pages from concept to completion (from Photoshop mock to final Liquid page)
• Ability to code using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript/ Jquery, and .Liquid coding programming is a must
• Shopify Theme Development and Customization
• Ability to add and customize apps within Shopify
• Skilled in UX/UI Design with an understanding of current trends
• Skilled in Adobe Photoshop is a must, Illustrator preferable, and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD
• An understanding of SEO aimed at increasing website traffic and conversions
• Experience creating responsive web designs that maintain cross-browser consistency along with the best practices
• Must be able to create wireframes and mockups that demonstrate a knowledge of customer experience from initial engagement to the final checkout
• Monitor and provide feedback on email trigger campaigns: post-purchase, browsing & cart abandonment, welcome series, thank you & loyalty, and win back programs to maximize sales and customer engagement

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, relevant field, or relevant work experience
• Must have 2+ years of experience with Shopify platform and liquid coding programming
• Minimum 5 years of experience in web development is preferred
• Expert knowledge HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap
• Strong proficiency in SEO and email channel marketing
• Experience with Ajax and version control are a plus
• Experience with WordPress and other eCommerce platforms such as Magento and e-Commerce is a plus.
• Graphic design experience and the ability to create and modify web banners using Adobe Photoshop are a plus
• Experience navigating REST APIs between proprietary software
